Cleaning for Your Paracord
Hand Wash Only
Do Not Use a Washing Machine
Allow to dry naturally. DO NOT dry in direct heat or sunlight.
1. Create a cleaning solution with 1/4 tsp. of a clear, mild dish-washing liquid to every 1 cup of warm water.
2. Apply a small amount of the solution to a scrub brush or an old toothbrush.
4. Lightly Scrub the paracord with the scrub brush. By scrubbing too hard the cord could be damaged.
5. Rinse the paracord by patting with a damp cloth. Allow to air dry.
How to Care for Fraying
You will need a lighter. Hold the paracord section that is frayed about three inches away from the tip. Hold it horizontally over the ground away from your body. Briefly light the frayed paracord carefully. Wait only long enough for the end of the frayed paracord to fuse. If you burn it too long, or have too many frayed ends, you will end up with a large inconvenient bump on the item. Do not get any on you as melted nylon material will burn.
